Who wants to compromise? There’s no reason you can’t be in the heart of the action, ready to get going and head out for a day of adventure at a moment’s notice, but still able to relax and unwind when you want to. That’s why we created the Chalet Augustine, with accommodation for up to 12 people and enough space to spread out, but small enough to fit into the centre of Hinterglemm village, where all of the nightlife and the daytime action are right on your doorstep. So if entertaining is more your style, there’s space for that, and if you’d prefer to get straight out onto the slopes, they’re only a short walk away.

The Chalet Augustine is clearly designed for action, with a handy and ski room with heated boot racks the first thing that greets you as you come through the door. Chalet Augustine is a truly ski-in, ski-out experience that allows you to come and go as you please without wasting any time, and with the nearest piste just meters away, you’ll be on and off the slopes in no time. No need to worry about ski buses or taxis, and if you’d prefer to adventure further afield, the Reiterkogel lift station is right next door to help you on your way. And if you’re a summer visitor, then you’re in luck because the central location in the village of Hinterglemm makes it extremely easy to reach any of the region’s amazing walking and mountain biking routes, too, so you’ll be spoiled for choice.

Choice is the most important part of any holiday. While there may be some intrepid slope enthusiasts in your group, you may also have beginners among you or even people who prefer to relax and unwind instead. That’s why it’s great that Chalet Augustine has a cosy ground floor area allowing guests to relax and socialise, with a central dining table, perfect for warming up after a day on the slopes, playing cards or board games or a dinner with all the friends and family then enjoy something on the smart TV in the living room. Presented in a cosy, Austrian style home, the Chalet Augustine is fully equipped with all the cooking facilities you could need, with standard kitchen appliances. Chalet Augustine has cosy bedrooms all with wooden flooring with new comfortable beds.

We’re extremely proud of the glorious mountain scenery all around Hinterglemm, which is perched at more than 1,000m above sea level high in the romantic Austrian Alps, but don’t think that you’re out in the wilderness! While Chalet Augustine might be up in the clouds, there are many more down to earth charms available in our pretty Alpine resort, including a great range of shops, bars and restaurants, traditional wood-framed Alpine buildings and pretty streets as far as the eye can see. Just step out of your door, and you can be there in minutes.
